'89 930 Fuel gage gets stuck at the half mark
My fuel gauge will get stuck showing the tank in just below half empty. So is it the gauge or is it the sender unit in the tank causing the issue?

Disconnect the wire st the sender and have someone ground it and unground it with the ignition on. If you get full deflection it's the sender
Take out and inspect. If the light goes on you have the wrong wire
