Needed new blades; got Bosch Icon 13A, which are advertised to fit 1985 911.

OK, install seems like it should be simple. Flip up the clip cover, shove the hook through the cover, pull it over the clip.

That last part - not so easy...seems like I am having to force it. Double- and triple-checked to make sure I am putting the hook onto the clip in the right direction; measured the hook and the clip, seems like it should fit. Shouldn't really be this hard, IMHO. Watched all the videos and read the instructions; still no luck.

What am I doing wrong? Or is the Icon just not really a correct fit for the car, despite what Bosch says?

I'm using them with no problem on my 73 and I used them on my 91 too.

I just ran into the same problem. You need to reuse the inner clips off of your old wipers. You should be able to pry the old clip off with a screwdriver
