Default '86 911 Turbo (930) short shift kit...

M wondering if the Porsche OE Short Shift Kit for the normal '86 911 Carrera 3.2 will work for my '86 930.

Anyone have info or recommendation here?

I do not want to go with the Wevo or Weltmiester units as these raise the shifter and do no preserve the OE look.

No you can't use a 5 speed short shift kit for a 4 speed. Are you sure the weltmeister kit doesn't preserve the oem look?

Seems like that plate could be covered with the factory boot

I'm sure the wevo offers an original look as an option.

Appreciate the feedback. I'll be going with the Wevo Classic and coupler (along with replacing all bushings).
