Had to do a repair on my sunroof. Was not working most of the winter....did not bother until I though it was warm enough. Got out my trusted copy of 101 projects...and it let me down. Lots of holes in this project, left much to the imagination. Got it done but took way too long. This is the only project that I have found lacking. Key points that should have been pointed out, were just left out.

But, I am still very happy overall with the book and my sunroof now works.

I have spent most of the Winter writing a "cover all" engine rebuild procedure...you'd be surprised at some steps that come to mind while I lay awake in bed!!!!!!!! ...some that I can't believe I missed!

The BIG thing I've found to do is get a digital camera and TAKE PICTURES of every step you make while "discovering new territory".

Book writing is tedious and aggravating work, at times. You have to convince the publisher that there are VERY important steps in some procedures and so on...or they will cut out parts that they think are too much information, I.E. - "rambling". <img border="0" alt="[grrrrrrr]" title="" src="graemlins/cussing.gif" />

I know this all too well, and I'm sure Adrian does too!

Good info on Rennlist. I found 2 loose screws on my sunroof motor. Removed, locktited and retorqued. Sunroof fixed!
Love those easy fixes.
