Default A Final Goodbye

I sold my 1987 today, I just wanted to say thankyou to all on this forum, I learned so much from many of you and I cannot tell you how much it helped, it was my second of the same year and I am afraid it may be my last.....i think, I could not pass up the offer from the buyer.

Thanks again,
drive safe, have a great summer

Rod

87 is a good car.
The offer must have been $60-70k

Well, not quite, but I felt it was more than fair for a car that needed some work on the horizon, it was great, but, on to newer endevours. I think anything less than a perfect example would not fetch 60K

I've always had an itch to add an early 90's NSX to the stable (ok, it's not really a stable yet!)... not sure if it's your thing but a very interesting and fun car!

Yup, I agree, cool car, I looked for one a while back, hard to find a nice one. I was also looking at a DB9 and an early 2006 Ford GT.

NSX prices are on the rise also, hurry up and buy!

I honestly think buying some cars would have yielded way better returns than my retirement accounts.

E30 M3, any long hood 911, '87-89 911, 964's, anything 60's Mopar.... if i could send myself one message 7-8 years ago it would just be a bunch of car models and model years.

No kidding, I would love to send myself a message to buy Apple when I was a kid....otherwise I would also have liked Hef's life...at my age

hahaha.... there will always be more, question is, what cars are going to follow suit?

My problem is it doesn't matter how much the 3.2's increase in value because I'm too emotionally attached to mine to sell it!

Back on topic - 06 Ford GT and DB9 are both awesome choices. I'd be tempted with the GT.... the guys who have them in the CGT forum rave about how much car it is for the money... and you're not likely to lose any on it either.

Yup, I agree the GT is nice, problem is finding that right one. No worries though, I have time. Its funny how some cars just draw you in.

'70 911S, 78 911SC Race car, '84 Carrara Targa, '71 Corvette Convertible, 2016 Corvette Z51, 2011 328 BMW Convertible, and a pickup....

Wife is killing me to sell a car... can't do it... I love my 3.2.. it was my DD for over a decade... it's like selling children.

I'll spend your money...

Any Porsche GT-3 at a good price... (even though they are not cheap)

360 Ferrari...(if you like Ferraris, which I don't)

'68-71 Corvettes... (although the big blocks are not the bargains they were)

Now for the long ball...

AMG MB SLs... (underpriced, but maintenance is an issue)

3G Mazda Turbo RX-7... sleeper.

Let the games begin...
