Default 2.4 heat exchangers on 3.0 sc

Hi

Not new to this forum, but been away for a while. Had a 1984 carrera 12 years ago, and now on the verge of buying my second porsche, a usa 911 sc coupe, chiffon weiss, full service history.

Of course the us models are a bit down on horsepower, so I was thinking about SSI heat exchangers and dansk 2 in 1 out. The SSI are new €1300 a pair, so quite expensive.

Yesterday someone offered me a pair of 2.4 heat exchangers from 1972, in good shape.... Do they fit an 1982 3.0?

And is the torque and power gain about the same?

Gr sev

I think the pipes are narrower so may restrict flow.

Do you need heat?

BTW, most classic car collectors have a DD to use in the winter.
