Default Classic Shift **** upgrade - gauging some interest and appreciate feedback!

Hey guys, I've been producing the CLASSIC SHIFT **** for the later model Porsches (964 thru 997) for some time now, but there's been increased interest in extending an application to the earlier models. I've done a few one-off shift *****, and I'd like to showcase some of those results here to gauge your interest and feedback!

Pictured below is a custom job completed for a 1986 Carrera. It's a 6061 black anodized 5spd engraved **** with white paint-fill, mounted atop a black anodized base. The shift **** mounts to the shift lever via 2 set screws, which can mount at the front to stay out of sight - the **** orientation adjusts independently of the base. I've also attached a picture of several of the **** material and color options (6061 and Delrin), along with the paint-fill options.

What percentage of your cars come with the shift boot accordion vs. the full length leather shift boot? The current design is set up for the accordion style, but I could offer a shift boot collar if necessary for seamlessly mounting the OEM leather shift boot.

Clever design with the classic look. I like the way it look on older 911 and 964/993. Pre-1987 911 uses the accordion boot, 1987-89 uses the leather boot.

Hi everyone, we ran a few more of these shift **** bases specifically for the early 911 round shifter shafts (as pictured in the original post).

We have 2 black anodized and 3 silver anodized bases available. They're machined without a shift boot adapter, so they're ideal for the earlier accordion boot shifter setups. It uses 2 set screws to attach to the shift lever - the upper one is concealed when the **** threads onto the base, so only the lower one is exposed, and you can rotate the base such that the set screw is pointing forwards and out of sight.

Please post below or send me a PM or email with any questions, or to order one of these limited edition units for yourself!

I run a wooden 917-type **** on my 1980, but the pics you posted look good.
What are your price points?

I like the looks, but Al is about the worst material for a shift **** I can think of.

A quality plastic would be ok, tho I prefer leather or wood. maybe your manf. process can work on wood or plastic?

Hi, thanks for the question. As long as the Rennshift is compatible with the stock shift *****, the Classic Shift **** should fit.

Please double check that the outside diameter of the Rennshift lever is 15mm. If yes, then fitment is a go!
