Default 1969 donor parts compatability?

i have a 1969 bare shell.

I need everything to build it. Door guts, glass, window frames, brakes, suspension. everything.
I can look for all the parts individually or as an alternative find a rusty complete donor car.

What year donor would get me most of the correct parts?
Would a 912 donor work for most of the parts?

Yes, 69 912 or 69-71 911. 72-73 works too but had some trim changes.

Is this going to be a restoration, an "R-Gruppe" type of car, a track car?

The answer to that question really determines what you use to put it back together and on the road again.
