On Panorama there was an article about a couple who did 600k miles on their 996 turbo. Obviously the price needs to be right, but if there's a solid paper trail of receipts and a good owner, like Steve says, why not.

I'd buy it as long as the gearbox had been going through at least once and all other maintenance was up to date.
