Default 1980 911SC Stalls at stop and turns

1980 911SC, low mileage, mechanically sound but in daily driving stalls when off the gas - for example when gliding to a stop or when executing a slow turn. It starts right up and runs great .... until the next stop light. Very frustrating. I know just enough about the car to be dangerous - would appreciate any suggestions, recommendations, help. Thanks!

Hmmm... let's try the easy stuff first...

Fuse/relays... remove, clean, verify they go in tight and secured.

Any vacuum lines deteriorated and needing change

Idle Air Control Valve. Remove it, spray it profusely with brake or carb cleaner. If there is improvement, order a new valve.

Or could just be that you need the idle adjusted...

That is all I have... others will sure chime in...
