Ready for new shocks after 32 years.
We had the Sport Shocks from the factory which are green,i believe.
What says the RENNLIST for replacements?

Those are Bilsteins. IMHO, I would go with them again.

Bilstein Heavy Duty are green and Bilstein Sports are yellow. The yellows are "stiffer" or provide more dampening over the HD's.

I replaced all my black Boge with the green HD's and was disappointed. Went to the Sports and had Bilstein rebuild them to match my stiffer suspension, installed Bilstein struts, and now I really love them.

My 89 had boge and they were tired. I put bilstein sports on front and rear, along with a proper setup and alignment. What a difference!! My torsion bars are stock.

I replaced mine with Bilstein Sports along with complete front and rear Elephant Racing polybronze bushings in the front, trailering arm bushings (sport hardness), and ER strut tops, adjustable spring plates.

In my past cars, I used Bilstein Sports and have been very happy with them.

Some go Sport fronts and HD rears, another option.

Green fronts and yellow rears seem to be the preferred option, don't forget to change the suspension bushes at the same time.

Here's an article I wrote about shocks last year. My advice is to keep it simple.

lots of options, depends how much you want to spend and for what purpose.

for street Bilsteins greens will be fine. If you want fair price adjustables Elphant racing sells Vons

I've been happy with the Bilstein HDs on my '87 Carrera. Firm but not jarring.

Great article...thanks for posting.
My Weissach has green ones and original, with 52kmiles.
I dont track the car, would anyone recommending replacing?
I have driven Porches for about 6 years, but I am no expert and have really not pushed this car on public roads/twisties, but seems to handle properly.
Thanks for any comments.
