i stumbled on this car a few months ago. im not asking because i think its a unicorn of some sort... lol. just for my own knowledge. its a 76. paint code is 266 so ice green metalic.

But yeah, absent a 911660XXXX VIN, it's a car that got a flare job/replacement engine/usual updates that we did in the '80s to pretty much all of them.

No, it was the guy with the ROW '77.
But your car is a US '76 that looks like one of the good ones. I always butt welded flares, so you'd never know. (For the beyond-belief, my friend who has a '72T->'73RS with more RS parts than most RS got his flares done, and the body guy used no filler--plastic or lead. Most unbelievable metalwork I've ever seen.)

cool. i think its from canada. i have the delivery stamp in service book from volkswagon canada. i just thought it was a cool car in a colour that has really grown on me. pwr windows and no sunroof. its a ball to drive.

Its a 76 911S with rear 1/4 narrow body panels replaced with later SC/3.2 flared ones, front spoiler is AM (not porsche style) rear tail added and as per your earlier confirmation engine is a 3.2 1984 euro spec.
