Default Market value M505

I always wanted a 1989 turbo factory slantnose and was in the market looking for one now.
Due to the rarity of the 1989 factory 505 available for sale, I don't know what a fair value is. Mileage would have to be under 80k. I would say around 50-60k miles. Looking for a coupe.

How many of these were made for the US market???

Thanks in advance for the info

I saw this 88 for sale on Pelican, but it is a cabriolet not a coupe. I'm not going to get into discussions of the price asked as I don't know the market for these cars. Just pointing you to one I saw.

I believe there were 147 89 factory 505 slants for the US market. I've seen more 87/88 for sale over the past few years in the $150-$200 range for really nice ones. I've only seen 2 89 for sale, one was $225k the other was just listed on eBay for $165k buy it now and sold in less than 10 minutes, I have a feeling that one will pop back up for sale somewhere for more $, was white with 50k miles. By the time I picked up the phone to call the seller, someone else hit the bin.

The white one on eBay with 50k miles, I was the winning bidder for $142. Called the owner to see where I can inspect the car and he told me that all inspections are done prior to auction end.
He did state that in his posting but I didn't notice post til 12 hours before end time. He wouldn't honor a weeks time for me to check out the car. So sale didnt go through.

How about a 3.6 flat nose

Hard to say which is more desirable. Everyone will have their own opinion at the end of the day. But both of those cars are gems.
