Default New SC owner in the UK. 3 questions about the car

Hello, I recently bought this 1980 SC Targa from RPM in the UK.

Very pleased with the car so far, 1 month in. Still learning the 915 box, and the "Where is 1st gear today?" game.

Anyway, 3 questions if you don't mind

1) I have this park brake light? All other cars I googled have a seat-belt light... Is this normal for a UK car?

2) The hottest the car ever gets is barely out of the "minimum" zone? Is my car incredibly efficient, or is my oil temp sensor giving up?

3) The red lever between the seats controls heat to my feet. BUT the manual says NEVER pull the lever? Should the 0-9 dial connect to the red lever via the "ball" (Arrowed).? There's no link there at the moment.

That's all for now! Thanks.

1. never seen it but not im not in UK.
2. yes its fine , especially for this time of year , that is perfectly normal to be at the top of the first section.
3. Yes. But many of these are broken , I don't have autoheat but I see that post a lot.

That is a disconnected autoheat actuator lever. I swapped in manual pulls when I pulled out my perfectly good autoheat unit.

Nice catch Dino, remember seeing the car at RPM. If you fail to catch other UK owners on here for specific SC questions then have a look at impactbumpers.com
