I had the BK-2016 on my 993 power passenger seat (pic attached), and I liked that the FE did not protrode far into the passenger footwell.

The 3.2 has a manual passenger seat, and the correct BK mount is the model 2015, which from what I can tell, provides good fore-aft adjustability at the expense of having the FE quite far into the foot well.

1. Anyone have any pics of the 2015 mounted with the extinguisher - how cramped does it make it for passengers? How does it look?

2. Anyone used a 2016 on manual seats - I believe this is doable. Likewise any pics? How bad does it restrict forward seat adjustment?

I am leaning towards getting another 2016, I liked the design, provided it makes sense. I think I'd give up some far forward seat adjustment to have the FE as inobtrusive as possible.

Besides the BK alternatives - any other preferences for a manual seat mount?

I have a 2016 mount (at least looks to be that based on your photo...) that I had pulled from the 944. Let me know if you what to try it out for size.

Matt,i have one that i used in my 911 before i installed a 5lb unit in the rear tunnel,let me know if you want me to look for it,you can come over and try it for size !

I got the BR2016 to work on the passenger side in a 3.2 Carrera with manual seats. You won't be able to slide the seat all the way forward but it will work.

Sounds like you have a few offers to borrow on to try.
