Default cam timing 3.0 sc

I just had top end freshen up new rings heads head bolts etc and backdated exhaust with sport muffler. The car runs good but max speed is 110 mph at 5000 rpm in 5th .

I think he is saying it won't rev over 5,000 RPM.

The question is why....and he thinks it may be the cam timing.

What do I win?

The VERY first thing I would do is run the car on a Dynojet (chassis dyno) to get some baseline numbers and see what your AFR's are.

After that, one can offer some constructive suggestions.
