I have a 84 911 turbo look, Can anybody direct me where to by an adapter so my cell phone charger will work in the cigarette lighter?

 

There was a thread on Pelican in the 911 BBS regarding the cigarette lighter chargers,it was a while back but if you do a search you might find it !

I purchase a stubby little USB charger and wrapped the top of it in electrical tape. It took a bit of trial and error, but eventually I had the perimeter built up with just the right amount of tape to hold it centered in the plug. Don't cover the metal contacts, just put it up above that. Has worked on several trips.

 

I bought a replacement outlet, took the metal cylinder out and shortened it to use as a shim between the car's outlet and the plug.
