Can you say exactly where in the front trunk?

Also, where on the engine and transmission can I find serial numbers? I just ordered a Cert of Authenticity from PCNA and will want to check all that when the CoA arrives.

Thanks,

Thx GT. Here is an update:

I have confirmed that the VIN number is indeed one for a Canadian Turbo - one of the 89 imported in 1982. Double checked with Red Book and also in accord. I have a picture from the front trunk/frunk panel, where the VIN is etched in/inscribed from the factory. All matches with the VIN in the cockpit short of the 4/5/6th letters (which are ZZZ and per my knowledge that should exactly be the case). I also got a picture of the engine #, which starts with the 67C0xxx - as I believe it should for a Turbo car.

PNA is frankly not very helpful. I can order (and likely will) a CoA, but it will likely show up as "Turbo Look" vs "Turbo" as that is what they have in their records, per my phone call to them. A few months ago I ordered a CoA for my 993 C4S only to realize the MSRP they had was blatantly wrong (6 digits, when the original window sticker, which i have, is $85K) - I did alert them and they reissued a new CoA in 4 weeks time with the correct info. Given all I have read about how erroneous these CoAs can be, especially for older cars (and Turbos that were never sold in the USA given the timeline), I am not holding my breath it will be super accurate, in fact already I know it won't be. But would hopefully include engine #, etc. verifying that it is truly a numbers matching car.
