Default How can I tell what month my 3.2 was built?

Good morning everyone,

My very new to me 87' coupe came with little paper work, I would really like to find out as much as I can.

WPOZZZ91ZHS102319

The VIN doesn't give me a month but it gives me the chassis number of 2319.

So I guess my question is actually how many 87' 3.2 coupes were produced? and from that info how can I work out the month?

I read somewhere that the production of each year started in august after the summer break, is that correct?

I still haven't taken delivery as I have yet to get the insurance/parking space sorted, when I do I will post some pic's

This may also be a stupid question and bit too late to ask, but is it a G50?

Thanks again,

Open the door when you get it, and look at the door jam sticker with vin along with month and year if production?

Yes, it's a G50 produced well into the model year. My '88 ends in 696 and was produced in November of '87

Decoding your VIN a bit:

Maker PORSCHE
Model Porsche 911 (CARR. COUPE)

Trim 911
Market Другие (translates to other)
Engine 930.20
Release 1987
From 1987
TRN G50.00 (transmission)
Country C15 (Porsche's code for Hong Kong)

Remember that Yellowbird is an '87.
