Hi all,
I have a '84 911 that just developed a problem with turn signal. The turn signal doesn't work at all, but the high beam on the turn signal works. The hazzard/flasher switch doesn't work either. Unfortunately, the Haynes manuel doesn't say anything about how to troubleshoot the hazzard switch. If anyone out there can help me out, I am really appreciated. Thanks.

John,
I assume T/S is turn/signal. Correct?
Also, where would the T/S relay hidden? Is that the same as the Hazard/Flasher switch next to the headlight switch?
Just another thing. When I bought the car recently and use the turn signal, both arrow on the dash would blink.
Thanks again.

It sounds like the flasher is bad. Had the same problem (both lights indicator lights blink when T/S is on) when I got my 77 911 two yrs ago.
After analyzing the wiring schematic the only place for the voltage to leak back to the "wrong" indicator light is through the flasher.
Cheap repair, change it and move on!
