Default Oil lines leaking question

Quick question, got a 1982 911 in oct before the weather got cold

No oil leaks at all

Once it got cold i noticed leaking while warm running lines going to the front oil cooler

Only warm only while running

Im gonna jack the car up and look

Looks like connections to the oil thermostat, not the thermostat itself

Question is it possible for oil lines to need to be tightened when its cold due to shirking of maybe conection gaskets?

Leaks are by rear pass window and under right rear side of engine

Could be "triangle of death" or one of the three very common weak points in the oil system. There is an O-ring on the internal thermostat that is the most common culprit. It is located on top of the engine up against the firewall. Sucks to fix on a CIS engine but is doable. Likely made easier by dropping the rearward motor mounts a few inches. The next is the pressure switch next to the thermostat at the top center of the engine. Third is the on-engine oil cooler. Doable via the right wheel well with the engine dropped a couple inches. Did all three rather quickly on my 3,2.

Your location does sound like the stAt. If it is you will see right away. Very unusual tho. Those things are usually so friggen tight you can never get them off.
A leak there is unusual

Pictures.

I believe the Porsche manual specifies additional tightening of the lines if they leak after installing new ones, but I doubt this is the case if it was fine before.

Removing the nuts from the thermostat is extraordinarily difficult to do without damaging anything, so you want to be very sure you are attacking the correct location for the leak.

Clean everything suspect and be sure of where the oil is originating.
