fuel filter replacement.

Default fuel filter replacement.

quick question, when i removed my fuel filter i found plummers tape on the threads, i have a feeling its unecessary, when i replace it i just want to make sure im correct in not using a plummers tape over threads?

Just an FYI, most threads are tapered. Teflon tape, or thread compound is pretty much just a lube that stops any galling of the threads, so they seal properly. For poorly tapped threads it helps sealing.
