Valuation of these Sport Seats
I'm thinking about selling these to get some different seats. All the power features work. Left plastic piece is broken, but I have all new black plastic on the way. (I was thinking about recovering in black leather if I kept them.) What could I get out of this set? They are brown leather and in good shape.

Seriously, for collectors, Sport Seats are a big plus, especially if they are original to the car. Personally, I love them, but for "people of girth", they may be uncomfortable.
My suggestion is that, if they are not comfortable for you, just keep them, and buy some standard seats... which are plentiful and relatively cheap. There's a ton of black ones out there...
If you ever go to sell the car, having the original sport seats (even if they need re-upholstered) will significantly increase the value of the car.
Good Luck.

Thanks again, guys. I was just looking at swapping them for something else. I guess I'll just keep them, unless I can find a reasonable price to have them recovered.
The most comfortable seats I've ever sat in were the 997 GT3 seats I had in my 993. They were so snug. And I never felt like I was sliding around with the high bolsters and alcantara centers.

Those are very coveted seats and you will not have any issues selling them. That is why everyone here is telling you to keep them. Get them restored...money well spent.
GT3 seats.... sweet!!!

Don't get rid of your sport seats ...
I installed some Sparcos in my 911 when I was doing DE's and had many offers for my pristine sport seats ... which I wisely kept as my 911 is now returning to street duty now that i'm racing in a series with a 944 !
You will never find another set for what you sold yours ,should you ever want some again ...
Cheers

Great looking seats!
Exactly the style I'm looking for. I'd be curious to know the market value for them as well.
I've got the standard seats in my 84 911 and they are very comfortable but I fell in love with sport seats while test driving another car when searching for mine

I wish more original owners had chosen sport seats... Or that they had put them in every car! Hard to find. I can only echo what others have said... You will regret selling them.

I was in San Diego crashing a PCA Autocross event and noticed an '88 911 in the same color as mine. I parked next to it and started talking to the owner. First thing I noticed was that his seat bolsters were not nearly as big as mine. His seats appeared thin, almost anemic. He said his car had stock seats and my car had sport seats. I'd never had two cars side by side and hadn't ever given it much thought. Still gonna swap them out.
Any chance there were three levels of seats? Thin, medium bolster, and sport? Mine don't look nearly as thick as what is pictured above.
