Vin number for Carrera Targa

it's an odd car. seller thought he had a Carrera targa and on the surface it looked like that's what it was. when he sent me the vin and I decoded it I came up with 1976 911S Targa. It has Carrera flares, tail, script, etc. I know all of that is easily done to a normal targa. At worst, it's a non-original 991S targa.
