Default Monterey Historic Races (Picture Gallery)

Monterey Historic Races

I had the good fortune (armed with Press and Team Pass privileges) to attend the Practice Group runs and get close and personal with some of these spectacular vintage race cars.

The pictures are posted on the Rennlist Gallery web site

The first batch is from the Paddock and are mostly of what caught my camera fancy. The latter images are of the groups that I photographed from the starting gate (on Friday) as they lines-up for 'launch'

Did they run the Historic F1's on Friday? I was there on Saturday and didn't see them run. Some people told me they ran on Sunday but I was at Pebble Beach. By the way, that Lotus 49 is just perfect. If they hand those out upon entry to the pearly gates, I might have somethink to look forward to after old age.

Anyway, The Historics are great. This time of year is the best for Monterey Co.
Oh, for the tourists; Pebble Beach is that way--->
