Default PDK in Carrera S....991

Looking to buy a used Carrera S with PDK.
Is there any difference in the 991 PDK in 2012, 2013, 2014 and 2015?
Any year the same as the PDK in the 2015 GT3?
I owned a Caymen "R" when first introduced, hated it... sold it immediately.
I did read the problem of throttle response/lag with certain PDK's... has that issue been fixed in newer models?
What about the 911 GTS?
Which are the fastest PDK's with no lag, are there Series #1 and 2 etc.?

Why did you hate the Cayman R? It was a great car. If you hated a Cayman which is a mid-engine 'balanced' car, are you going to enjoy a 991 which is a rear-biased car (even though less so than earlier series)?

Note: You may have better luck in answers to your questions in the 991 forum...

I hear only goo things about pdk as far as performance is concerned... but you are better off with these question in the 991 forum sections.
