The seller of this 1981 Porsche 911 is a cheater on ebay.
1) He bought this Porsche in October for $18,100 http://www.mint-cars.com/i301334092330.html (it was also listed locally in MD on Craigslist but that is now down)
2) He's listed it 3 times on eBay as a reserve auction but in the description he says says it is NO RESERVE but he can't fix the auction once it started., even answers a comment that he will take the highest price. But he's had high offers of $23,100 and $24,100 and he has listed it YET AGAIN as a "no reserve" in the description. You don't make this same error 3 times in a row. He's basically cheating the eBay system.
3) His reserve price is $26,000 if you are interested... but that may be too much for a gold 81 with brown seats.
I see that it's an extremely versatile car. It manages to be a "Porche, 911s, 911sc, 911, Turbo, 912, 912s, 914," all at the same time, ain't that unique?
Well it's at 30 g now so that's quite a tidy profit he is going to make.
I bet the ownership doesn't have his name on it thoigh. He will try and pass it from old owner to new without him being in the mix so he doesn't pay any tax I bet.
It looks like the seller has at least 3 shills bidding the car up to $30k. Several zero (0) or one(1) transactions...even some of the other bidders look suspicious to me. No way I would bid on this car.
If you look at the bids the bidder who made the jump from 20k to 29k has bid on a lot of other 911's and also things like Porsche manuals ... wonder which dealer that might be?
The seller or one of his friends is certainly bidding up the price on this one. Who wants to take bets this one doesn't sell and gets listed for a fourth time on eBay?

Got the auto check for this car.
Only one record a title update in Maryland in Oct 2014 w mileage of 62,000 ish.
Why only 1 record (would a title correction wipe out all the old history or does md not report the data or did the owner never check in at a dealer?) why a title correction?
1 owner listed so the seller has not titled it in their name. (It did sell to the current seller in Oct).
