Default 86 Targa Back on the Road!

Well it has been a big week for me. I finally got my 86 Targa back on the road after a couple of years of sitting/being repaird. This was my track car but decided to retire it (104K miles) and turn it back into a road car I can drive lots. I Just got it back from the shop (no time to work on it myself) having a bunch of work done.
- Fixed a brake problem. I was victim of a bad NOS AFE master cylinder.
- Valve Adj, new plugs, wires, etc
- Fix an air leak in the intake (two bad gaskets on the drivers side)
- New to me B & B headers and 2in / 2 out muffler (CC insert on one side - still working on fixing drone 2200 - 2800 rpm)
- Removed front section of roll cage. I left the rear part in to keep the extra stability.

Since I got it back 5 days ago I have:
- gotten most of the interior back in it.
-Replaced the head lights with Hella H4s (still have scooped look),
- put in LED dash lights,
- Reinstalled the fog lights.
- I also Plasti Dipped the roll bar (looks really nice, good matt black color). Turned out better than I hoped.
- Hard wired in my Radar detector and added a new 12V port
- New windshield wipers

I have driven over 260 miles so far and I really missed driving it. I've owned this car for nearly 26 years.

Found out yesterday that my wiper switch doesn't work. So that needs to be replaced. I also have a new steering wheel to install (Nardi to replace my Dino). Just waiting for the 2" extender and horn button bracket to arrive.

I also need to reinstall / repair the windscreen washer system. I have all the parts its just getting the time to get it done.

Very cool. Love Plasti Dip. Must have gone through a dozen cans for friends and for my Toyota. My rockers are gonna get it before they go back on.

The secret is lots of thin coats unlike the rubber bed-liner type that goes on thick and runny.

Update on drone.

I added a 2 in washer with a 1/2 in hole to the input of the CC insert (on the 1 3/4 in inlet) and that seems to have removed 90% + of the drone.
