Default Carrera Roll Bars

I want to add a roll bar to my 1989 cab, but need to keep the back seats for my kids. I understand there are bars that bolt in and can be removed when the seats are needed. Better yet if there is a permanent bar that does not interfere with the back seats. Any information and suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

I've got a roll bar for a 1987 cab that was designed for the car. Frame is angled to follw the seats up over the drivers shoulder, over the top and then down to the floor on the passenger side. The angle braces bolt into the wheel wells and allow the seats to be flipped up or down. There is a cross brace that also runs from above the driver's head to the lower side on the passenger side.

The unit is attached to the floor using four bolts on each leg and to the wheel wells with 2 bolts.

30 minutes max to install or remove, once holes are drilled.

I'm in Knoxville, TN and would love to unload my current roll bar.

Send me a note at dondelaria@msn.com if interested.

PS - the corss brace is an ideal place to mount a fire extinguisher for track events.

Don

I'll probably have a nice DAS sport Cabriolet Rollbar available Monday for $450 plus Shipping. They bolt to the seatbelt points and can be taken in/out ~30min

Let me know if you want it and I'll pick up over the weekend.
