Default Geniune Porsche floor mats for an 88' ?

Hi Guys ,
First post - long time lurker . My head is spinning there is so much here on all the various model forums . Quick question : is it possible to find Genuine Porsche floor mats ( black ) for an 88' coupe ? I've seen them on a couple sites in other colors - not black . Any help greatly appreciated .

Lloyd Mats are an official aftermarket supplier and have permission from Porsche to use many of the company trademarks in their designs. You design the mat you want with the embroidered graphics in the color you choose, on carpet colors that you choose, with your choice of piping.

Hi Alan ,
Thanks for the response - I was aware of the Lloyd mats , but was hoping somewhere there might be a source of the original ones I got new in the car . These have the foam backing branded with the Porsche logo ( spelled out ) and had a Porsche part number tag glued to them .

Try Suncoast Porsche in Sarasota. IIRC, they only offered black as I was in the market for dark blue...

"have foam backing.."

You seem to be asking about the 5 floor carpet pieces, not carpet mats.

Practical impossibility if so.

Hi Guys ,
I am looking for floor mats similar to what I bought from the dealer when I purchased the car new in 1988 . The car doesn't have back seats so I only use the 2 front pieces . I sent an e-mail off to Suncoast hoping that they might have the ones that Porsche sold until recently that were available in several colors ( including the black I'm looking for ) that are simple overlay mats w/o holes for any mounting tabs . The ones I'm thinking of had the word Porsche stitched into the background in the same color as the mat . Thanks to everyone for taking the time to respond with suggestions .
Regards,
Bryan

I purchased floor mats from High-End Motorsports in Ca. for my 89 and was very happy with the product. I also purchased a car cover from them. Im not sure if they have what you are looking for but you can research their company and products. RRC715

Hi Guys ,
Thanks for the replies . What I have been trying to run down are the Porsche mats in black - part number 0000 4480 1405 FV . They are shown as out of stock , but not discontinued . I was in my Porsche dealer yesterday and there are no mats in the system - in either the Tecquipment or Classic side of things . I'll keep looking , but may break down and buy a set of the Llyod mats .
Regards,
Bryan
