I did a search and couldn't find anything. Does anyone make a nice bracket/hold down assembly which allows the installation of a standard battery into a 911 SC?
I just purchased an '82 and it has one of the newer gel-cell batterys. It is just sitting in there and the previous owner handed me the stock hold down and said that it doesn't work with the battery in the car.
I searched Pelican parts and couldn't find anything there either.
Any info is appreciated. Newby here

There are several kits to install Optima gel batteries, which sounds similar to yours. Automotion used to carry one (you can pick up the part number from the www.automotion.com web site), then call Performance Products (Automotion merged with Performance awhile ago) at 1-800-423-3173.
