I'm looking for some opinions on a reputable mechanic in the Western Ohio, Dayton, Toledo, Southeastern Michigan, Ann Arbor, etc area. I have an 82sc which the engine is out of. I'd like to take it somewhere to have it refurbished or rebuilt depending on what is needed to be done. Thanks in advance.

I don't have a ton of experience, but I would give a shot to Jeff Jones at Automotive Techniques in Novi, Mi. The man definitely knows his 911s, and he's got a pretty slick engine building room. Super nice, easy going, and cool guy. Probably not the cheapest option, but one of those guys / businesses you don't mind paying a little extra for.
