Default Rear panel window trim not going in..

Good evening gentleman, i had a glass company come over to my place today to replace the rubber gasket from my rear window panels. He was able to put i. The rubber gaskets and window back in place, but couldnt put the metal bezel trim piece back onto the rubber. He said it would keep snapping out and wouldnt stay in. My question is, is there any trick on how to get this done? Maybe theres another order in which should be done. Any input would be greatly appreciated!

Ouch. The trim has to go in before the gasket is mounted to the body.

Trim goes on first, then put the cord in the inner channel just like they do the early windshields. Seat one end and start pulling the cord and it will pop (seat) into place.
