WTB: White 993 C2 or Carrera 3.2 coupe
Looking for my next Porsche. I've had a 993 and a couple Carrera 3.2's and I love them both, so whichever I can find is good with me. I want a very clean car with not too many miles that has good history with it. Cash buyer for quick purchase, will travel for right car. Prefer 3.2's with spoilers.

Three Wheelin'
I recently purchased an 87 911 and there are not too many nice ones. On the other hand, if you have an open budget you can find a some between $40K- $60K+ if you want something really nice with low miles.

2. cash buyer means cash buyer. cash mean actually greenbacks, some ppl think stocks/bonds as cash.
3. yes, no cash is slower. from major bank, a wire initiated before 12 noon will hit your bank the same day, assuming you have a major bank, chase, BofA, WFB etc etc. a loan, or liquidating stocks takes longer than that. although it's academic, some ppl (me) are extremely impatient and if i cant get paid in 24 hours once you commit, i move on to the next buyer. YMMV.

personally if i were looking for a car id probably already have the cash at hand or very close by in a locl account.. be back in 20 kind of thing. Yeah if somone wanted more than 24hr id move on too ..
anyway to OP sorry about the hijack .. good luck in the hunt .. the Gems you are looking for are getting harder to find.

^ most 993, 911 buyers are more mature and have the money ready. but you be suprised sometimes. i have ppl commit to $100k plus cars, we agree on everything, then he tells me let me go get my loan approved........
after enough of that, unless i know the buyer, i proceed with extreme caution.
sorry OP on the fiance thing.
but either 911 or 993 are cool. had both. think i will buy another. they get under your skin. like a virus.

Back to the question at hand, I don't think you can go wrong either way.
With recent spiral in 3.2 prices, they are roughly in the same price range.
3.2 is clearly repositioning into a true "collectable", so I guess future appreciation is likely, but going on two decades, 993 prices have been stable, so I think you can't get hurt financially on either of these.
IMHO, the 993 is the best 911 ever made in terms of styling, performance, and comfort, but there's nothing like an SC/Carrara for raw driving fun.
Buy what turns you on, I think its really a push.
