Question unknown plug- what is it?

I was working on the fuel system of my newly acquired 911, and noticed a round, six pin, all male plug lying just inside the driver side tail light in the engine compartment. It isnt hooked up to anything. Can anyone tell me what this might be?

The blower motor (for the heat?) was removed from the engine compartment by the PO, I am hoping it is for that. would be nice anyway.

Thanks!

No, blower motor is a two wire terminal. I'm going to say it is for the cruise control.

Default photo of the unknown plug

not sure how to insert an image, list keeps asking for a URL, so I added it as an attachment. I hope it shows up.

That would be the electrical harness connection for your driver side rear light,in that corner is a hole
the plug should connect to a female six plug there,if not look inside your quarter panel possibly
disconnected and fell down....Bert

That makes more sense. The wires look to come into the plug from the side.

If it isn'tfor the lights, could it go into the fuse box for a relay?
