Hello all. New to the list but not to Porsche. Recently sold my '64 Coupe due to non use and my small business. Then by fluke stumbled on an '87 Carrera cab in Venetian Blue that I absolutely fell for. She is cherry with 69k miles. Anyway, up until a couple of years ago it has always been a CA car from new. She is a FL girl now. Are there any extra CA emission crap that can be removed? If so, is it a tough process?
Thanks ahead of time. Very happy with my new baby and looking forward to the knowledge I can gain here!
There was nothing "extra" for the California cars. About all you can do is take the cat off and use a "test pipe" if that is allowed in Florida.
By the way, I like your car. Mine is an '88 manual cab w/LSD in Ven Blau Met too. They are the best kind....Mine has sorta gone on a diet over the last many years.
