Looking at 2003 Porsche Targa and need input
I have been looking for a Cayman or Cayman S for a long time. I ran across a 2003 Targa with 62,000 miles on it a few hours from where I live. First question is an older porsche a mistake if I plan on tracking the car? My current weekend / track car (limited) is a 2012 MINI JCW and I have grown very tired of MINIs and the FWD nature. I find my self driving my 2004 BMW more than the supposed fun weekend car...
Second any advice on buying an older used porsche that I can't readily go look at?

Firstly a 2003 Porsche is not an older Porsche . This forum is geared towards cars up to 89 , now THAT is an older Porsche. If you are interested in our generation cars then stick around as these are track beasts ..
The newer water cooled ones .. well... lets just say you should go to the water cooled drop down and ask over there..i belive you own a 996 or 997 .. not sure , dont know much about those modern cars.

Oops, I did not realized I posted in the air cooled section. And I know a 2003 is not that old but 11 years old is "older" than I typically look... I will post in the correct form.

Good Luck ... and i would do your OWN research . ANY car forum ( yes including our beloved Air Cooled one ) Will be biased towards that particular model ...
