Sorry to toot my own horn, but I'm pretty excited about it! Never had a car in a magazine before.

Some of it is the angles that Randy chose for the photos, and some of it is the skinny Vredestein Sprint Classic tires on 4.5 in. wheels that makes it look that way. The tires are the size specified when new and the ride height is stock 1966.
Here are some more pics and info on the car, although the 14" Fuchs in those photos have a similar SUV effect: http://www.early911sregistry.org/for...read.php?76581

Great story, great color combo!
I just took delivery of my 991 Turbo S in the same color combo. Had to wait an extra 3 months for the PTS but it was worth it.
Love Slate Gray, so did Steve McQueen.
Congrats!

What an interesting story. I hope you enjoy it for many many more years ![thumbup](https://rennlist.com/forums/graemlins/thumbup.gif)
So many of the cars that get an article end up being up for sale shortly after... like the owners get the urge to take advantage of the exposure and cash in on it...
I really hope that is not the case in your situation. Beautiful car, a hell of a story, and I do hope you continue to enjoy ii for years to come.
