I am about to get my 86 Targa or on the road after sitting for a couple of years. Needs new tires. What are you running?

My car is used strictly for long trips up or down the coast. (Well, OK, there is the occasional trip up the canyon.)
We went on an 800+ mile trip last month and could not break the back end loose for nothin'. Hwy 101 to Hwy 1 all the way from Los Angeles to Monterrey and back. Lot's of remote off camber change of incline turns and none of them even remotely worried me.
I have rear toe set as near to zero as I could get it (will be adding a bit of toe-in this weekend because at freeway speed there is the slightest of tendency to wander side to side) and have the camber set at -1* so as to preserve the tires as long as possible, and because I have no plans of getting it sideways in turn 3 anytime soon.
Most would say this was a stupid choice of tires for a car used as a GT at best, but man what an improvement. Maybe some of the improvement is the lower ride height and dialing out some of the negative camber, but I think it is primarily the tires.

I have 2 sets of tires, both 225/45 and 205/55
Dunlop Direzza and Bridgestone RE-11a... both awesome tires. Since I dont really drive in the rain... I prefer the Dunlop. It is slightly stickier the the RE-11a... but I dont think you can go wrong with either.

Anyone use Pilot Sports our Continental DWs on their 911? I ruin pilot sport 2s on my M3. I like them. Not sure that they come in the size for the fronts (205).
