I just sold my 944 yesterday so I am now down to just the 911SC but always looking for another project.

356 is a goog idea to comlete 911 and 944. Anyhow, I would prefer a 914-6
to do so.

By the way: does my link (see above on 1. page) to the photos work ?

I used to own both at the same time. Although a little differant than most, I think. I had an '88 944 n/a for just over five years. Toward the end of ownership, I bought a '72 911T, the same one I own now. As for which I'd drive, it was a no-brainer. The 944 was/is such a superior car on the daily level (especially here in the midwest), that I would use that for most times with the 911 as a fun weekend cruiser. Unfortunately, I had to sell the 944 for need of money.

I do have to say, had I owned either of the two Carreras I later owned(one '84 and one '88) while still owning the 944, I don't think the 944 would have ever been driven.

I don't see them as compitition really, but for me the 911 will always be my first love.
