Default 1978 SC valuation

I am currently looking to add an SC to my stable and need some assistance on valuation. Specifically, what is the high/low retail on these cars? 80k miles to 100k. currently looking at a 3 owner car with a repaint in factory color and the usual updates, chain tensioner, idler arms etc. PPI is pending. TIA, Paul

It all depends what the PPI shows.

Broad range of prices but $15-$25k based on condition.

I agree, I have seen values from 17-to 28k

I think the SC' are the next ones to take off in value.

PPI showed some issues that need to be addressed. I appreciate the advice! I will keep you updated, Paul

They can be sorted, but the car does not command high retail as it is presented. I made an offer based on the PPI and the estimated cost of repair. I will let you know how it goes.

Me too. Just bought a 79 with a total engine rebuilt and paint to sample special order color. Just wondering how I did price wise.
