Are the 1972 911 S caliper aluminum from the factory?

Maybe I should ask it this way, what is the difference between S brakes and say T. I believe the 2.4 E also came with " S brakes"

'72 S front are aluminum, 1 piece S on 282x20mm vented rotors on 3.5" struts, rear are iron, 2 piece(w/ spacer) M on 290x20mm vented rotors

E did not come standard w/ the front S calipers. Both T and E came std w/ iron M calipers and 3" struts on the same rotors
