Default Bwunhilde got a makeover today

Since my work was closed today for bad weather, I loaded Bwunhilde on the trailer and took off for Autometrics in Charleston, SC, 180 miles away.

It was my 1st time there, but they had been recommended, and after a complete suspension rebuild, my 911 was badly in need of a spa treatment.

Corey did a great job. She now sits LOW, corner balanced, aligned with -2.7* camber on all 4, and new Tarrett swaybars set to neutral.

As an added bonus, we put her on the dyno: 208 hp and 192 ft-lbs torque (corrected to temperature); pretty decent I thought for a 30 year old engine with 235,000 miles and never a rebuild.

First DE of the year is in less than 4 weeks!!!! A new learning experience!!

Post a back to front photo of the camber. I'll be setting camber on mine this weekend and would love to compare photos vs. numbers.

That is neat as all hell.

Indeed. And basically why people fawn over these cars - they're driveable high performance machines that STILL work as cars this many years later. Not many in this category you can say that about.

It may be longer than that before I can. Augusta got hammered by the ice storm, and right after I made my first post I lost power and they say it may be another 2-3 days before I get it back. I'm at work today, and that's the only reason I have internet.

Luckily, all the cars escaped damage, but I lost several big trees, and the next couple of months will be spent doing cleanup.
