OK, I just did a concealed display install on my 951, now I am looking for ideas on the best place in the 86 911.

Here's another option from the BMW community. About to install one in my 95 325is.
It's made for the V1 and its called the Inv1simirror.
Hardwire the V1, turn it on and your display is shown inside the mirror, turn it off and it disappears like its a normal mirror. VERY SLICK!
