Default '79 911 Hybrid Value?

I have a ’79 911 with a Renegade Hybrids 350 small block chevy conversion that I’m going to sell. It has an entirely new suspension, bushings, seats, interior carpet, steering wheel,
tires, wheels, etc. I put about $30k into it.
What do you all think it may be worth, I know not 30K.

What wheels are those? They look like 17's?

This would take a very specific buyer... I don't see the appeal personally, but I'm sure there are others that would be into it.

I like it.......I keep my eyes open for stuff like this because I'm searching for my next car.
As a matter of reference, I know a guy selling a '76 930 w/383 hybrid in it. Its exceptionally well done w/AC, upgraded suspension, brakes and a gazillion other things......price just above 30k.
I'd put yours on EBAY with a reserve you know will not be met......run it a couple times and see what the market is telling you. Its not for me as I am looking for WB.

as pointed out you will have to hit a specific buyer . I wouldnt focus on selling this car on Porsche forums as i imagine it would have more apeal to the tuner crowd..

If tastefully done it should hold a certain value for the right buyer, although a 915 gearbox with a potential 400HP engine is a scary thought ...

Cheers

WOW, I think replacing the air cooled p-engine w/ anything else, rips the heart and soul out of the car. No idea on value here, but it's going to be a tough sell. Good luck!

I think this is a bit low, but frankly, its probably not too far off....unless, you find the needle n the haystack buyer who has to have it.

I'd take it off your hands minus the V8, unless it was a really good deal. Where is the car located, if it's close I'd love to check it out. I love my Porsches but at the end of the day I'm a huge car guy/fan so stuff like this is still neat.

Thanks above, i asked for it and the opinions are appreciated

Something i wanted to do but haven't is make the motor look more Porsche and less Chevy
by changing the air cleaner and removing the Edelbrock etc.. This would make it more
pleasant when opening the hood.
I will add some more info and photos when i get some time.

Here's my other gulf blue V8 Porsche, the first 928RS i'm building.

It will be featured in Panorama once complete. 2650 lbs, 300 HP and plenty of Torque. Lexan, no power anything including steering.
700 pounds lighter than stock without any cutting or drilling of the unit body or doors. Fantastic car.-Matt

What mods did you have to do to the body/tub to incorporate the radiator and cooling gear?

My guess is 14k give or take. That may be high. I was looking at a 76 wb 930 body with a 3.2 for around 18k. This was a full glass out resto, but due to body mods price was pretty low. Had a motor swap but was still newer 911 motor. Glws

Removing an Edelbrock manifold will not make it look any more "Porsche-like". Probably not worth your effort. Either someone will have interest, or not.

Nothing is going to make an SBC look flat 6ish...I'd advertise it as a Hot Rod/outlaw...what it is and not highlight the Porsche aspect as folks into P cars wouldn't be that interested...Hot Rodders might be especially if done well.
The ones I've seen have had the body modified so much that reverting to stock doesn't make monetary sense so that kind of deletes the Porsche crowd.
