Help me decode my leather interior color please
Hi All
New member, but not a new Porsche owner.
My 1983 911sc is going to get some new leather seat covers but I'm having trouble figuring out what color the leather is.
I have the original sticker and under "Color Code" it says G1G175.
The metal tag on the passenger side fender in the trunk is pictured below.
Can anybody tell me what leather I have?
For what it's worth the sticker says I have the "Special Leather Interior", a $1,000 option.
Thanks to all who help.

Just a follow up.
I called my Porsche dealer who tried to help, but in the end they did not have access to the info needed.
I then called Porsche North America and they could not have been more helpful.
The gentleman I spoke to pulled up my car on his computer and advised that from what he could tell I had a Champaign leather interior with brown carpet (and that's what I thought this might turn out to be). He suggested I wait 5 days before ordering the leather for the seats makeover because he was going to go straight to the factory and get the precise info from my car from them. He was 90% sure the leather is Champaign, but he wanted to be 100% sure before I ordered the leather (and I'm not even ordering Porsche leather). THis is the kind of stuff that creates fierce customer loyalty.

Three Wheelin'
If it is a standard color, champagne was the only similar color offered for 1983. What you can also do is contact places such as GAHH, Heritage, World and Autos Intl to see if they can send you swatches.
