Default Air vent part

Hi
Anybody any bright ideas on replacing the small plastic clip that links the horizontal blades inside the air vents on either side of the dash on a 88 911? Can you purchase this very small part in the USA? (You have to buy a complete vent unit over here) and how do you remove the vent ?I can see one small screw on the side only.
Thanks

I think you have to repace the entire vent. Have you tried Pelican's catalog?

Yes it looks like I will have to replace the complete vent.If I could remove the vents I may be able to fabricate a clip and save myself a few hundred dollars ! Thanks for your help
