I recently installed a short shifter on my 86 911. This was the first significant repair/upgrade I tried myself. When I was taking apart the console I nicked a wire to the hazards switch. A single wiring harness (#911-612-002-19) costs about $4500 ($5700 list). He is happy to help me find a cheaper source and/or maybe a specialist shop that can do this repair more efficiently. Can anybody recommend a source for used Porsche wiring harnesses? Additionally can anybody recommend a shop that is very experienced in older Porsche electrical systems in Southern California? Preferably San Diego area. Any other suggestions?
