Default Question on 911SC Bently repair manual

Hello all,

I am trying to purchase the 911SC repair manual, but find two types of cover colors out there; orange and grey. Can't seem to find what is the difference between the two in my internet searches. Does any one know if there is a difference and does it matter if I purchase the orange cover or the grey covered book?

I am recent owner, and I am trying to learn as much as I can while the car is in hibernation for the winter.

I'd go by published date-Amazon would list that.

I have the grey version and it has a soft cover. I believe the orange is the latest and has a hard cover.

Mine is a 911SC 1982, so I think either should work since latest is now relative for 30 year old car, right. Thanks for the feedback.

I'm sure either would be fine. I picked my copy up from amazon about a year ago and all errata noted on the Bentley website were already incorporated.

Having said that, while the Bentley manual is helpful, the factory service manuals have been even more helpful and nothing can compare to the wisdom of the people on this and other forums.

Ordered the manual. Thanks for all your inputs. At some point once my budget permits I do agree that I should get the factory manuals. For now, baby steps....
