Who wants to trade ur 911+$ for my 993?
Toying w the idea of moving from my 993 to a 911. Can't have both unfortunately. Anyone here wanna kick around the idea of your car plus a little cash for my 993?
I'm looking for a red coupe or targa, w Fuchs wheels. Manual. In good order.
My car is a squared away 50,000 mile coupe. W most if the RL approved mods and nearly perfect paint n body w clean car fax.
Not sure I've totally worked up the nads to actually do this but it would be easier than selling my car outright then searching for a 911. Esp if you're local to NJ. I can't seem to get the idea of a 80's 911 out of my head.

Kevin, if you're serious about this start a thread on Pelican as well. You'll find many willing parties.
Although I think it would be best to just sell the 993 and buy a 911. You'll get a good chunk of change for your car and can then find a well sorted 911.
Best of luck!

after emailing the guys some tonight your prob right Ilko, that having a wad of $ is prob the right way and opens the most doors, rather than doing a trade between two people...

I made a similar conversion and haven't looked back. While my 993 C2S was a more beautiful car, it wasn't anywhere near as fun to drive as the '89. The only thing I really miss is a quality air conditioning system.

I agree Ian. I don't feel like the creature comforts will be " sorely" missed since I typically only put 2-3000 touring miles on the car a year and use it as a ride to dinner and lunch.
I will love 30 minute oil changes and bare bones engine compartment. Power steering and AC? Don't need em'

I would be interested in trading my easy to work on, cheap to buy parts for, cheap to insure, just as fun to drive 911 for a silver 993, which I have always wanted and like you, I cannot have both in my garage at the same time, but unfortunately my 911 is black on black and I live in Florida which is not very close to the Jersey shore.
